What is Stackdrop?
Stackdrop is a powerful Windows software deployment tool that lets you install your entire software stack with just one click. Instead of manually downloading and installing dozens of applications one by one, Stackdrop generates a single installer that handles everything automatically.
How Stackdrop Works
- Select Your Apps: Browse our catalog of popular Windows software and select all the applications you want to install.
- Generate Installer: Click the "Generate" button and Stackdrop creates a custom installer file (.exe) tailored to your selections.
- Download & Run: Download the single installer file and run it on any Windows computer.
- Automatic Installation: The installer automatically downloads the latest versions of each app from their official sources and installs them silently in the background - no user interaction required!
- Stay Updated: Our installer scripts are automatically updated daily at 3am to ensure you always get the latest versions and installation methods.
All installations are configured to run silently with no prompts or pop-ups, making it perfect for IT departments, system administrators, or anyone setting up multiple computers.
💼 Stackdrop Pro - Professional Management
While the basic Stackdrop service is free and perfect for individual users, Stackdrop Pro adds powerful management features for businesses and IT professionals managing multiple computers.
What Stackdrop Pro Offers:
- Web Dashboard: Manage all your devices from a centralized web interface. See which computers have which software installed, track installation status, and monitor your entire fleet from one place.

- Centralized Control: Push software updates and new installations to multiple devices remotely without needing physical access to each computer.
- Installation Tracking: See exactly which apps are installed on which devices, making it easy to ensure compliance and maintain consistent software stacks across your organization.

🚀 Coming Soon: Stackdrop AI Agent
Our next project is an AI-powered desktop agent that can navigate your computer and perform tasks just by telling it what you want. Think of it as having an intelligent assistant that can see your screen, understand what you're asking, and actually control your mouse and keyboard to get things done.
How the AI Agent Works
The Stackdrop AI Agent uses advanced AI models to understand your commands and navigate your Windows computer autonomously. Here's how it works:
- You Give a Command: Tell the AI what you want to do in plain English. The agent can navigate websites, fill forms, click buttons, type text, and interact with web-based applications. Examples:
- "Go to Facebook and create a new post about our product launch"
- "Search Google for 'Python tutorials' and open the top 3 results"
- "Fill out the contact form on example.com with my name and email"
- "Navigate to Gmail, find unread emails from 'support@company.com', and mark them as read"
- "Go to Twitter, compose a tweet with the text 'Excited to announce our new feature!' and prepare it for posting"
Note: The AI Agent currently works with web-based applications and websites. Desktop application automation (like Photoshop, Word, file system operations) will be available in future updates.
- AI Plans the Steps: The AI analyzes your request and figures out exactly what actions need to be taken - which windows to open, where to click, what to type, etc.
- Screen Understanding: The agent can take screenshots of your screen to see what's currently displayed, understand the layout, and identify buttons, menus, and other UI elements.
- Autonomous Navigation: The agent then executes the plan by controlling your mouse and keyboard, clicking buttons, typing text, navigating menus, and moving between applications - all automatically.
- Real-time Adaptation: If something doesn't work as expected, the AI can see the result, adapt its approach, and try alternative methods to complete your task.
AI Agent Examples
Example 1: Web Form Filling
Your Command: "Go to example.com/contact, fill out the contact form with my name 'John Doe', email 'john@example.com', and message 'I'm interested in your services', then submit it."
What the AI Does:
- Opens your default web browser
- Navigates to the contact form page
- Takes a screenshot to see the form layout
- Uses AI vision to identify the name, email, and message fields
- Clicks on each field and types the appropriate information
- Finds and clicks the submit button
- Confirms the form was submitted successfully
Example 2: Web Research
Your Command: "Search Google for 'best practices for Windows security 2025' and open the top 3 search results in new tabs."
What the AI Does:
- Opens your default web browser
- Navigates to Google search
- Takes a screenshot to locate the search box
- Clicks on the search field and types your query
- Presses Enter or clicks the search button
- Waits for results to load, then takes another screenshot
- Uses AI vision to identify the top 3 search result links
- Clicks each link (which opens them in new tabs)
- Reports back: "Opened 3 search results in new tabs"
Example 3: Social Media Post Creation
Your Command: "Go to Facebook, create a new post with the text 'Excited to announce our new AI-powered tool! Key features: 1) Automated workflows 2) Smart scheduling 3) Real-time analytics. Launching next month! #TechInnovation' and prepare it for posting."
What the AI Does:
- Opens Facebook in your default browser (or switches to it if already open)
- Takes a screenshot to see the current page layout
- Uses AI vision to locate the "Create Post" or "What's on your mind?" area
- Clicks on the post composer field
- Types out your complete post content with all the details
- Adds the hashtag you specified
- Leaves the post ready for you to review and post (or can be configured to auto-post)
- Reports back: "Post composed and ready for review"
Note: File uploads and advanced scheduling features require additional integration and will be available in future updates.
💡 Use Cases
The AI Agent is perfect for repetitive tasks, complex multi-step operations, or situations where you know what you want but don't want to manually click through dozens of steps. Whether it's organizing files, setting up software, researching topics, filling out forms, or automating workflows - just tell the AI what you need and it handles the rest.
